What the press speaks:
The only motorcycle in India with four valves, it is gutsy and untiring. For the sub-50,000 price, you get one of best looking motorcycles in India, premium tyres and electric start as standard! No other motorcycle offers this kind of value in the price segment. when you see the GF in a Kinetic showroom in your town, stop and take a ride; you'll like it. Business Standard Motoring, October 13th, 2001.
The GF is a stunner with performance and technology to match. The essence of the G 125 is in being a complete bike. At 12 bhp, it has adequate power to earn the respect of the majority of motorcycle riders. At the same time, for those who care two hoots about power, theres enough visual attraction to keep the mind occupied. For the techno buffs, a four valve head, starter motor and the disc up front should provide the appeal. Auto Motor & Sport, April 2001 issue.
The bike is a wonderfully balanced package. It is quick, smooth, intensely comfortable and looks stunning. To that, add an exhaust note that will clear the cobwebs from your head and easy-on-the-pocket fuel bills and you can see why we think that the GF 125 will be hard to resist. Autocar India, November 2001.
The GF is the most complete package here; it looks good and goes well without losing any significant ground in terms of performance. A self starter, five speed gearbox, and front disc brake complete the package. As an all rounder among bikes, there is no overlooking the GF 125. It is also available for marginally less than the CBZ and I am sure this will force the other players to pull up their socks. Till then however, the GF 125 from Kinetic remains our favorite in this category. Auto Motor & Sport in a comparison of sporty commuters Hero Honda CBZ, Suzuki Fiero and Kinetic GF 125, November 2001.
